The Isle City Council is composed of
one (1) Mayor and four (4) City Council members. The Mayor is elected at large to a two-year (2-year) term and Council members are elected at large
to four-year (4-year) terms. Council member terms of office are staggered so there are elections every two years. Municipal elections are non-partisan and names are placed on the ballot without party designation.
City Council Meetings
City Council meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Special meetings and work sessions may also be called to conduct City business with a minimum of three days notice.
Citizen who wish to be on the agenda must submit a "Request to be on City Council Agenda" form to the City Clerk. The request must be received the 2nd Friday before the requested council date.
