Isle City Council

City Council

The Isle City Council is composed of one (1) Mayor and four (4) City Council members.  The Mayor is elected at large to a two-year (2-year) term and Council members are elected at large to four-year (4-year) terms.  Council member terms of office are staggered so there are elections every two years.  Municipal elections are non-partisan and names are placed on the ballot without party designation.

City Council Meetings

City Council meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.  Special meetings and work sessions may also be called to conduct City business with a minimum of three days notice.

Citizen who wish to be on the agenda must submit a “Request to be on City Council Agenda” form to the City Clerk.  The request must be received the 2nd Friday before the requested council date.
